By now you’ve probably heard about Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink in Wynwood. It lives up to every ounce of hype. The food is amazing. HURRAY! We had the brunch there… and I’ve never seen such a wide menu of egg dishes in my life. I also love that breakfast is served “small plate” style so you can have a lot of a little. It’d be a crime to only eat one thing on the menu.
The Bloody Mary’s are SPICY, just how they oughtta be. They’re also loaded with olives. They serve PBR for brunch and when the server told us they were trying to cool them down, my friend was a little disappointed. (Who wants a warm Pabst?) The server exceeded our expectations by bring out her tallboy PBR in a chilled bucket. Seriously. A tallboy in an icy bucket. All. to. itself. AWESOME.
Menus are changed daily. But if you get a chance, here were our favorites:
- onion dip, unlike anything I’ve ever had before
- breakfast pizza (left)
- deviled eggs (top)
- egg and crab hash
- kimchi benedict
